But in that moment, I realized something: My job isn’t just about taking photos. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve mastered the art of blending into the background when needed and stepping in as a guide when the moment calls for it. I know how to handle high-stress situations, gently manage family dynamics, and ensure that even the most camera-shy couple feels comfortable in front of my lens. What to expect.
Whether it is blazing hot or freezing cold, I will make you laugh, carry & fluff your train, hold your flowers, straighten necklaces, pin on flowers, hand out your ceremony programs, watch the time & your list, even cut down your wedding cake.
You will see me lay on the ground, squat behind bushes, stomp through the tall brushy field (so you don't have to) and stand precariously on wet rocks all just to get the perfect image.
Just like a movie director I will help you pose by giving you tips ahead of time and prompting you the day of. You don't have to know what to do, that's what I'm here for.
My processing style is true to color but if you like light and airy or dark and moody I am happy to make that happen for you. I am not the type of person that has to have it her way or no way.
These photographs are more than just images, they are your cherished memories. My goal is to freeze these moments in time and to give you a quality product that will lasts for generations to come.

What if the lighting isn’t ideal during fast candid moments?
Weddings don’t pause for perfect lighting — and they shouldn’t have to.
We are constantly adjusting settings as your day unfolds. From bright outdoor ceremonies to dimly lit receptions and dance floors, we know how to work quickly and confidently in every lighting situation.
Sometimes the most emotional images happen in candlelight, golden sunset glow, or moody reception lighting. We lean into the atmosphere instead of fighting it creating images that feel exactly like your day.
Do you direct outside of portrait time?
Yes, gently and intentionally.
The majority of your day is photographed in a documentary style, allowing moments to unfold naturally. However, if we see an opportunity to elevate a moment with a small adjustment (like turning slightly toward better light or pulling someone a little closer or getting someone out of the way), we’ll guide you quickly and naturally.
Portrait time is when we slow down and create those timeless, romantic images. The rest of the day? We preserve it exactly as it felt.
